Detailed Itinerary

Outline Itinerary

 


Day 01:

Arrival in Kathmandu and meet with our representative at the airport and transfer to Hotel. Welcome drink and short briefing about Ama Dablam Expedition.

Overnight in Hotel - 1400 meter

 


Day 02:

Paper work, gear preparation and more briefing about the trip.

Day 03:

Drive to Ramechhap 4 Hour and Fly to Lukla 20 minutes and Trek to Phakding.

Overnight in Lodge – 2800 meter
 


Day 04: Trek to Namchey Bazar one of the highest altitude town in the world.

Overnight in Lodge – 3440 meters



Day 05:

Acclimatization day and exploration of Namchey Bazar.

Day 06:

Trek to Dibuche

Overnight in Lodge – 3870 meters



Day 07:

Trek to Pangboche

Overnight in Lodge - 3985 meters
 

 

Day 8:

Trek to Ama Dablam Base Camp

Day 9:

We will start training, know about the mountains and its technical aspect. We will also acclimatize and prepare our self by doing various rotation and rest. We will adapt our body in high altitude by climbing to different camps from Camp 1 and Camp 2. In these days we will prepare our self for summit physically, mentally and by being familiar to high altitude and Ama Dablam. Our base camp crew and guide will help you in identifying problems and train you for the summit.

Fly to Lukla in Helicopter

After Breakfast Final Departure to International Airport
 

Include

Our Mount Ama Dablam Climbing Package Includes:


1. All airport and hotel transfer domestic, international and Helicopter from Amadablam B.C to Lukla.


2. 5 nights' accommodation at 3-4-star hotel with breakfast.

3. Domestic flight from Kathmandu to Lukla and Back.


4. Kathmandu city sightseeing tour as per the above itinerary and entrance fees.


5. Meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner) with Tea & coffee and hot/cold filter water during the trek, base camp and all other places than Kathmandu.


6. Lodge during trek and tented accommodation during climbing period on sharing basis. We will have a well settled base camp service in small lodge of Ama Dablam Base Camp.


7. Mountain Guide and Experienced One climbing Sherpa each during the climb from Base Camp to Base Camp who will help you for your summit and take care of you during the whole climbing.

8. One porter for one person from Lukla to Base camp and Back to Lukla.

9.  Cook, helper, porters and their food & accommodation, salary, equipment’s & insurance for base camp and high camp services.


10. Camping Equipment’s, Tents, Kitchen Utensils and Mattresses with high foods.

11. 1 Duffle Bag, Radio Set, Satellite Phone, Map, Weather Report, Heater, Solar or Generator in Base Camp for charging mobile, laptop etc.


12. Climbing permit of Ama Dablam, National park fees, Rural Municipality Fees.

13. Waste, members stool and garbage management fees and all necessary permits.

14. Government Liason officer fees with his equipment, insurance, gears, accommodation and foods.

15. Cost of Rope Fixing Sherpa Team

16. Training of using gears, climbing ladder, rope and other important knowledge and sharing experience of the expedition.


17. First Aid Medical Kit box, frequent medical checkup and necessary emergency equipment’s.

Exclude

Our Climbing Package Cost doesn't include:

 


1. Any meals (Lunch and Dinner) in Kathmandu except breakfast in hotel.


2. Travel insurance that should cover your accidental, medical and emergency rescue evacuation in case of worst case.


3. International air fare to and from Nepal.  


4. Nepal Tourist Visa fees.


5. Items and expenses of personal nature like beer, Any kind of alcoholic drinks, cold drinks, snacks, laundry, phone call, internet.


6. Personal Trekking and climbing Equipment’s needed for climbing. We recommend you to check all gears before heading to expedition in Kathmandu. Our guide will help you in organizing gears.


7. Emergency Evacuation (Helicopter Rescue).


8. Any costs which arise due to a change of the itinerary, because of landslides, domestic flight delays, political disturbance, and strikes etc.

9. Summit Bonus to Climbing Sherpa of minimum 800 USD once they reach camp 4 and Tips of minimum 250 USD to base camp staffs like cook, porters, helpers etc.


10. Any other costs whatsoever, that is not mentioned in the cost included.


11. Horse renting and additional porters during the trek.


12. Tips for guide, porters, driver and other staff.

🏕️ Personal Gear:

  • Large duffel bag (waterproof, ~100L)

  • Daypack (~30-40L) for trekking/climbing days

  • Sleeping bag (rated -20°C to -30°C)

  • Sleeping pad (inflatable or foam)

  • Headlamp with extra batteries

  • Water bottles (2 x 1L) and/or hydration bladder

  • Insulated bottle (Thermos) for summit push

  • Personal first aid kit & medication

  • Sunscreen (SPF 50+), lip balm with SPF

  • Toiletries (toothbrush, wet wipes, etc.)

  • Trekking towel

  • Power bank or solar charger

Trekking Layers:

  • 2-3 moisture-wicking base layer tops

  • 1-2 thermal base layer bottoms

  • Fleece or soft-shell jacket

  • Down jacket (heavyweight for base camp use)

  • Waterproof shell jacket (Gore-Tex or similar)

  • Waterproof shell pants

Climbing Layers:

  • Lightweight down or synthetic mid-layer jacket

  • Hardshell summit suit or pants/jacket combo

  • Down suit or very warm summit down jacket (optional but preferred for summit day)

  • Insulated pants for high camps

Gloves & Mitts:

  • Lightweight liner gloves

  • Insulated climbing gloves

  • Expedition mitts (down or synthetic)

Headwear:

  • Warm hat (beanie)

  • Balaclava or buff

  • Sun hat or cap

  • Glacier glasses with UV protection

  • Ski goggles (for summit day)


🥾 Footwear:

  • Trekking shoes or boots

  • Double mountaineering boots (e.g., La Sportiva G2 Evo, Scarpa Phantom 6000)

  • Gaiters (if not integrated with boots)

  • Camp shoes/sandals

  • Wool/synthetic trekking socks (4–6 pairs)

  • High-altitude expedition socks (2–3 pairs)
