Utsav Pathak is the founder of Ski and Snowboarding Foundation Nepal. He graduated from Nepal Academy of Tourism and Hotel management. He has been working for Skiing and Mountaineering for more than 10 years now. He has been organizing different expedition in Nepal specially ski expedition and mountaineering expedition. He himself is a good skier who have skied in Mera Peak 6476 meters, Kalinchowk, Annapurna Base Camp, Mustang, Manang and many other places in India and Europe. His expertise has helped Nepal in development of skiing scence in Nepal. 

Ningma Dorje Tamang

Director / Mountain Guide

Ningma Dorje Tamang is the Co-Founder and Director of Himalayan Mountaineering Expedition. With over 15 years of professional mountaineering experience, he has guided and climbed on some of the world’s most challenging and dangerous peaks, including Everest, K2, Annapurna I, Nanga Parbat, and many others. Known for his technical expertise, leadership, and endurance, Ningma has become one of Nepal’s highly respected high-altitude guides.

Dhan Bahadur Gurung

Director / Ski Guide

Capt. Dhan Bahadur Gurung is an accomplished athlete and adventure specialist with an impressive career spanning sports, coaching, and high-altitude expeditions. A Winter Games National Champion (1999–2018) with 13 medals (3 Gold, 4 Silver, 6 Bronze), he has represented in Asian and World Cup Ski Championships and served as Head Coach of the Winter Games Federation of India (2011–2018).

His adventure qualifications are equally remarkable, holding Category A certifications in Mountain and Winter Warfare along with National Fire Fighting. He led South Pole expeditions (2009, 2010) and possesses expertise in alpine skiing, Nordic skiing, snowboarding, biathlons (winter, summer, roller), paragliding, rafting, kayaking, rock and ice craft, avalanche rescue, search and rescue, skydiving, trekking, acclimatization, and physical conditioning.

With world-class management skills, proficiency in advanced equipment, basic medical training, and balanced diet planning, he maintains peak physical fitness and excels in extreme environments, making him a resilient leader and expert in adventure sports and survival.
