Overview
Ama Dablam Climb with Mera Peak Ski Mountaineering
If you are looking for a high-altitude adventure that combines technical climbing, ski mountaineering, and the unmatched beauty of the Himalayas, the Ama Dablam Climb with Mera Peak Ski Mountaineering is an extraordinary choice. This journey offers a rare combination of two incredible mountain experiences in Nepal: the thrilling ski descent from Mera Peak and the classic technical ascent of Ama Dablam.
This expedition is designed for experienced adventurers who want more than a standard trekking peak. It is for those who dream of standing among the giants of the Himalayas, improving their alpine skills, and enjoying a true everest expedition experience in one of the most iconic mountain regions on Earth.
Why Choose This Expedition?
This trip is not just a climb and not just a ski tour. It is a complete Himalayan mountaineering experience. You will first take on Mera Peak Ski Mountaineering, where you climb to high altitude and ski down wide snow slopes surrounded by breathtaking mountain views. After that, you move into the Khumbu region for the magnificent and technical climb of Ama Dablam, one of the most beautiful mountains in the world.
For climbers and skiers seeking a serious challenge, this combination creates the perfect balance of endurance, skill, and adventure.
Mera Peak Ski Mountaineering
Standing at 6,476 meters, Mera Peak is one of Nepal’s highest trekking peaks and a dream destination for ski mountaineers. Its high summit, broad glaciers, and long snow slopes create ideal conditions for a rewarding ski mountaineering expedition.
The climb to Mera Peak is physically demanding due to the altitude, but technically it is more accessible compared to major Himalayan technical peaks. This makes it an excellent preparation phase before taking on the more challenging Ama Dablam. Once on the summit, the reward is unforgettable: a spectacular panorama of some of the world’s highest mountains, including Everest, Lhotse, Makalu, Cho Oyu, and Kanchenjunga.
The skiing experience on Mera Peak is truly special. Descending through untouched Himalayan snow with giant peaks surrounding you is something very few people ever experience. For ski mountaineers, this is a chance to test skill, control, and confidence at extreme altitude.

Often called the “Matterhorn of the Himalayas,” Ama Dablam is a mountain that attracts serious climbers from across the globe.
But Ama Dablam is much more than just beautiful. It is a technical mountain that demands solid alpine climbing ability, good fitness, and a strong mindset. The route includes exposed rock sections, snow ridges, mixed climbing terrain, and technical ice. Every stage of the ascent requires focus and skill, making the summit one of the most satisfying achievements in Himalayan climbing.
From the top of Ama Dablam, climbers are rewarded with a stunning view over the Khumbu region. You can see Mount Everest, Lhotse, Makalu, and many other legendary Himalayan peaks. It is a summit that truly feels like part of a grand everest expedition journey.

This combination is ideal for adventurers who want a meaningful and challenging journey rather than a single objective. It is about building up through one peak and then applying your strength and skill on one of Nepal’s most respected climbs.
