Detailed Itinerary
Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu and meet with our representative at the airport and transfer to Hotel. Welcome drink and short briefing about Mera Peak Ski Expedition.
Overnight in Hotel - 1400 meter
Day 02: Paper work, gear preparation and more briefing about the trip.
Overnight in Hotel – 1400 meters
Day 03: Drive to Ramechhap 4 Hour and Fly to Lukla 20 minutes and Trek to Paiya.
Overnight in Lodge – 2730 meters
Day 04: Trek to Pangom from Paiya
Overnight in Lodge – 2864 meters
Day 05: Trek to Nagindingma from Pangom.
Overnight in Lodge – 2650 meters
Day 06: Trek to Khola Kharka from Nagindingma.
Overnight in Lodge - 3930 meters
Day 07: Trek to Kothe from Khola Kharka for few hours.
Overnight in Lodge – 3691 meters
Day 08: Trek to Thaknak from Kothe.
Overnight in Lodge - 4358 meters
Day 09-10:Trek to Khare from Thaknak for 3 hours maximum and acclimatize for one more day in Khare.
Overnight in Lodge - 5045 meters
Day 11: Climb or Ski Tour to Mera High Camp 5780 meters and rest in tented camp in high camp. We will wake up at 2 AM and then we will start summit push of Mera Peak 6476 meters in the night with touring skis or boot packing depends upon the situation. We will tour up to south summit which is 80 meters below the summit and we will only walk or climb to top because of its danger zone while skiing. We will return to khare via high camp all the way skiing. Although It will take around 6 hours from high camp to reach summit, it will only be 30 to 40 minutes of skiing from Summit to Base Camp or let’s say crampon point where snow or glacier begins. From there we will trek back to khare which will be another 1 hour or similar time. You will love the thrill of skiing in 6000 meters glacier which will be totally worthwhile and you will forget all your pain and hard work. If you wish to stay one more night in high camp and do touring it is included in the same cost.
Overnight in Tent and Lodge – High Camp 5780 meters and Summit of 6476 meters and back to Khare lodge at 5045 meters.
Day 12: Trek back to Kothe.
Overnight in Lodge - 3600 meters
Day 13: Trek to Chetarawa following the cheterala pass and stay in a lodge of chetarawa.
Overnight in Lodge - 3580 meters
Day 14: Trek to Lukla
Overnight in Lodge - 2800 meters
Day 15: Fly to Kathmandu
Overnight in Hotel – 1400 meters
Day 16: Extra Day in Kathmandu and sight-seeing.
Overnight in Hotel - 1400 meters
Day 17: After Breakfast Final Departure to International Airport

Our Mera Peak Climbing Package Includes:
- All airport and hotel transfer domestic and international.
- 4 nights' accommodation at 3-4-star hotel with breakfast.
- Domestic flight from Kathmandu to Lukla and Back.
- Kathmandu city sightseeing tour as per the above itinerary and entrance fees.
- Meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner) with Tea & coffee and hot/cold filter water during the trek, base camp and all other places than Kathmandu.
- Lodge during trek and tented accommodation during climbing period on sharing basis. We will have a well settled base camp service in Mera High Camp.
- One climbing/ski guide for 2 people and trekking guide during the trek.
- Cook, helper, porters and their food & accommodation, salary, equipment’s & insurance for high camp services.
- Camping Equipment’s, Tents, Kitchen Utensils and Mattresses with high foods.
- 1 Duffle Bag, Radio Set, Satellite Phone, Map, Weather Report, Heater, Solar or Generator in High Camp for charging mobile, laptop etc.
- Climbing permit of Mera Peak, National park fees, Rural Municipality Fees.
- Waste, members stool and garbage management fees and all necessary permits.
- Training of using gears, rope and other important knowledge and sharing experience of the expedition.
- First Aid Medical Kit box, frequent medical checkup and necessary emergency equipment’s.
- Office Service charge and Certificates.
Exclude
Our Climbing Package Cost doesn't include:
Any meals (Lunch and Dinner) in Kathmandu except breakfast in hotel.
Travel insurance that should cover your accidental, medical and emergency rescue evacuation in case of worst case.
International air fare to and from Nepal.
Nepal Tourist Visa fees.
Items and expenses of personal nature like beer, Any kind of alcoholic drinks, cold drinks, snacks, laundry, phone call, internet.
Personal Trekking, climbing and skiing Equipment’s needed for climbing. We recommend you to check all gears before heading to expedition in Kathmandu. Our guide will help you in organizing gears. We can also rent ski equipment with us.
Emergency Evacuation (Helicopter Rescue).
Any costs which arise due to a change of the itinerary, because of landslides, domestic flight delays, political disturbance, and strikes etc.
Summit Bonus to Climbing Sherpa of minimum 300 USD to climbing guide.
Any other costs whatsoever, that is not mentioned in the cost included.
Horse renting and porters during the trek.
Tips for guide, porters, driver, cooks and other staff.

Note: In case of emergency during the trip, Helicopter will be arranged by Himalayan Mountaineering Expeditions. The charges must be paid by the clients themselves.
