Detailed Itinerary

Day 01:

Arrival in Kathmandu and meet with our representative at the airport and transfer to Hotel. Welcome drink and short briefing about Ramdung Go Ski Expedition.

Overnight in Hotel - 1400 meter


Day 02:

Drive to Chetchet for 5 hours and hike to Simi gaun 1.5 hours

Overnight in Lodge – 2000 meters

 

Day 03:

Trek to Dongang which will take around 5 hours.

Overnight in Lodge – 2790 meters
 


Day 04:

Trek to Beding for another 4 hours.

Overnight in Lodge – 3690 meters



Day 05:

Trek to Naa Village which will be our last lodge accommodation and last village as well.

Overnight in Lodge - 4200 meters

 

Day 06:

Acclimatize in Na and visit Tshrolpa Lake which is the biggest glacier lake in the world situated at 4580 meters and back to Naa village.

Overnight in Lodge – 4200 meters



Day 7:

Trek to Ramdung high camp which will take around 6 hours for us to reach there.

Overnight in Tent - 5650 meters
 


Day 08-09:

We can summit and ski back in 3-4 hours but 2 days are kept here for exploration of the mountain, touring, bad weather or can be done in 1 day.

Day 10:

Trek back to Beding village.

Overnight in Lodge – 3690 meters

 

Day 11:

Trek to Simi Gaun

Overnight in Lodge - 2000 meters
 


Day 12:

Trek down to chetchet and drive to Kathmandu

Overnight in Hotel - 1400 meters
 


Day 13:

Rest day and Exploration of Kathmandu city.

Final departure after Breakfast

Our Ramdung Go Ski-mo Package Includes:


1. All airport and hotel transfer domestic and international.


2. 3 nights’ accommodation at 3-4-star hotel with breakfast.


3. Kathmandu city sightseeing tour as per the above itinerary and entrance fees.

4. 2 porters for the group of 4.


5. Meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner) with Tea & coffee and hot/cold filter water during the trek, high camp and all other places than Kathmandu.


6. Lodge during trek and tented accommodation during climbing period on sharing basis. We will have a nice high camp service in Ramdung go high camp.


7. One climbing/skiing Guide and one climbing Sherpa for 4 people and trekking guide during the trek.

8.  Cook, helper, porters and their food & accommodation, salary, equipment’s & insurance for high camp services.


9. Camping Equipment’s, Tents, Kitchen Utensils and Mattresses with high foods.

10. 1 Duffle Bag for each member, Radio Set for group leader and guide, Satellite Phone, Map, Weather Report, Solar in High Camp for charging mobile and camera.


11. Climbing permit of Ramdung Go Peak and Gaurishankhar Conservation Area permit.

12. Waste, members stool and garbage management fees and all necessary permits.

13. Training of using gears, rope and other important knowledge and sharing experience of the expedition if needed.


14. First Aid Medical Kit box, frequent medical checkup and necessary emergency equipment’s.


15. Office Service charge and Certificates.

Exclude

Our Ramdung Go Ski-mo Package Cost doesn't include:


1. Any meals (Lunch and Dinner) in Kathmandu except breakfast in hotel.


2. Travel insurance that should cover your accidental, medical and emergency rescue evacuation in case of worst case.


3. International air fare to and from Nepal.


4. Nepal Tourist Visa fees.


5. Items and expenses of personal nature like beer, Any kind of alcoholic drinks, cold drinks, snacks, laundry, phone call, internet.


6. Personal Trekking, climbing and skiing Equipment’s needed. We recommend you to check all gears before heading to expedition in Kathmandu. Our guide will help you in organizing gears. We can also rent ski, trekking and climbing equipment with us.


7. Emergency Evacuation (Helicopter Rescue).


8. Any costs which arise due to a change of the itinerary, because of landslides, domestic flight delays, political disturbance, and strikes etc.

9. Summit Bonus to Climbing Sherpa of minimum 250 USD to climbing guide and some tips to high camp crew.


10. Any other costs whatsoever, that is not mentioned in the cost included.


11. Horse renting and porters during the trek.


12. Tips for guide, porters, driver, cooks and other staff.

Note: In case of emergency during the trip, Helicopter will be arranged by Himalayan Mountaineering Expeditions. The charges must be paid by the clients themselves.

    • Avalanche transceiver, probe, and shovel for rescue preparedness.
  10. Harness

    • 30-50m lightweight glacier rope for team travel and crevasse rescue.
  12. Snow Gear

    • Snow anchors, pickets, or screws depending on conditions.

Clothing Layers

Base Layer

  • Moisture-wicking thermal top and bottom.
  • Avoid cotton; opt for merino wool or synthetic fabrics.

Mid Layer

  • Lightweight fleece or insulated jacket.

Insulation Layer

  • Down or synthetic insulated jacket for warmth during stops or summit push.

Outer Layer

  • Waterproof and windproof shell jacket and pants (GORE-TEX recommended).

Gloves

  • Thin liner gloves.
  • Insulated gloves or mittens for cold weather.

Headgear

  • Warm hat or balaclava.
  • UV-protective ski goggles and sunglasses.

Socks

  • Warm, moisture-wicking ski socks. Bring spares.

Gaiters

  • Protects from snow entering your boots during deep snow travel.

Other Essentials

  • Backpack (30–40L): Lightweight with ski-carrying capabilities.
  • Hydration system: Insulated bottles or a hydration bladder with a tube insulator.
  • High-SPF sunscreen and lip balm.
  • Headlamp with extra batteries.
