Overview

Mount Everest is the highest mountain in the world situated in the Himalayas of Nepal and Tibet. Everest breaks the record of highest mountain with an altitude of 8848.86 meters. Mount Everest climbing is the ultimate challenge for climbers worldwide. It offers two main routes: the popular South Col Route from Nepal and the less traveled North Ridge Route from Tibet. The best times to attempt the climb are late April to early June. Climbers need exceptional physical fitness, high-altitude gear and thorough acclimatization. The summit provides breathtaking views and a sense of monumental achievement, climbers must be prepared for unpredictable weather and the risks of altitude sickness. We should respect for the environment and following ethical practices are essential for preserving Everest’s beauty.

Note: In case of emergency during the trip, Helicopter will be arranged by Himalayan Mountaineering Expeditions. The charges must be paid by the clients themselves.
 

Detailed Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu, meet with our representative at the airport, and transfer to the hotel. Welcome drink and short briefing about Everest Climbing.

Day 02: Paperwork, gear preparation, and more briefing about the trip.
Overnight in Hotel – 1400 meters

Day 03: Full day sightseeing trip in Kathmandu Valley with a guide by private car.
Overnight in Hotel – 1400 meters

Day 04: Drive to Ramechhap (4 hours) and fly to Lukla (20 minutes), then trek to Phakding.
Overnight in Lodge – 2800 meters

Day 05: Trek to Namche Bazar, one of the highest-altitude towns in the world.
Overnight in Lodge – 3440 meters

Day 06: Acclimatization day and exploration of Namche Bazar.
Overnight in Lodge – 3440 meters

Day 07: Trek to Dibuche.
Overnight in Lodge – 3870 meters

Day 08: Trek to Dingboche.

Day 09: Trek to Lobuche.

Day 10: Trek to Everest Base Camp.

Day 11 - 35: We will adapt our body to the high altitude by climbing to different camps (Camp 1, Camp 2, and Camp 3). During these 24 days, we will prepare for the summit physically and mentally, becoming familiar with Everest. Our base camp crew and guide will help identify problems and train for the summit.
Overnight in Tent – 5400 meters – 7300 meters

Day 36 - 50: This is our summit window. We will attempt to reach the top of Mount Everest during this period, based on stable weather. We’ve planned extra days to ensure a successful summit.

Day 51: Trek to Periche from Everest Base Camp.
Overnight in Lodge – 4371 meters

Day 52: Trek to Namche Bazar.
Overnight in Lodge – 3440 meters

Day 53: Trek to Lukla.
Overnight in Lodge – 2860 meters

Day 54: Fly to Kathmandu/Ramechhap (20 minutes) and drive to Kathmandu.
Overnight in Hotel – 1400 meters

Day 55: Rest day in Kathmandu and farewell dinner.
Overnight in Hotel – 1400 meters

Day 56: After breakfast, final departure to the International Airport.

Include

  • All airport and hotel transfer domestic and international both.
  • 5 nights' accommodation at 4-star hotel with breakfast. Also welcome and farewell dinner with cultural show in a restaurant.
  • Domestic flight from Kathmandu to Lukla and Back.
  • Kathmandu city sightseeing tour as per the above itinerary and entrance fees.
  • Meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner) with Tea & coffee and hot/cold filter water during the trek, base camp and all other places than Kathmandu.
  • Lodge during trek and tented accommodation during climbing period on sharing basis. We will have a well settled base camp service with western foods, bakery and bar in Base Camp.
  • Experienced One climbing Sherpa for One person from Everest Base Camp to Everest Base Camp during the climb of Mount Everest who will help you for your summit and take care of you during the whole climbing. 
  • One porter for one person from Lukla to Base camp and Back to Lukla.
  • Cook, helper, porters and their food & accommodation, salary, equipment’s & insurance for base camp and high camp services.
  • Camping Equipment’s Tents, Kitchen Utensils and Mattresses with high foods.
  • Oxygen Mask and Regulator with 4 liters of Oxygen Bottle is provided to every member and guide for high altitude.
  • 1 Duffle Bag, Radio Set, Satellite Phone, Map, Weather Report, Heater, Solar or Generator in Base Camp for charging mobile, laptop etc.
  • Mount Everest Climbing permit, National park fees, Pasang Lhamu Rural Municipality Fees.
  • Khumbu Icefall climbing charge to Sagarmatha pollution control committee.
  • Waste, members stool and garbage management fees and all necessary permits.
  • Government Liason officer fees with his equipment, insurance, gears, accommodation and foods.
  • Cost of Rope Fixing Sherpa Team 
  • Training of using gears, climbing ladder, rope and other important knowledge which are needed to climb Everest in Base Camp.
  • First Aid Medical Kit box, frequent medical checkup and necessary emergency equipment’s.
  • Office Service charge and Certificates.

Exclude

  • Any meals (Lunch and Dinner) in Kathmandu except breakfast in hotel.
  • Travel insurance that should cover your accidental, medical and emergency rescue evacuation in case of worst case. 
  • International air fare to and from Nepal.  
  • Nepal Tourist Visa fees.
  • Items and expenses of personal nature like beer, Any kind of alcoholic drinks, cold drinks, snacks, laundry, phone call, internet.
  • Personal Trekking and climbing Equipment’s needed for climbing. We recommend you to check all gears before heading to Lukla in Kathmandu. Our guide will help you in organizing gears.
  • Emergency Evacuation (Helicopter Rescue).
  • Any costs which arise due to a change of the itinerary, because of landslides, domestic flight delays, political disturbance, and strikes etc.
  • Summit Bonus to Climbing Sherpa of minimum 1500 USD and Tips of minimum 400 USD to base camp staffs like cook, porters, helpers etc.
  • Any other costs whatsoever, that is not mentioned in the cost included.
  • Horse renting and additional porters during the trek.
  • Tips for guide, porters, driver and other staff.
